AFU soldiers destroyed a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter: worth $16 million

AFU shot down Russian Ka-52 helicopter

Over the past 24 hours on May 23, Ukrainian servicemen shot down another Russian helicopter. This time the enemy lost a Ka-52.

It is worth noting that the cost of one Ka-52 unit is $16 million. This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.

The terrorist Russian state often boasted about its Ka-52 reconnaissance attack helicopter, which is supposedly very difficult to destroy. In reality, however, this equipment was powerless against Ukrainian soldiers.

"In the past 24 hours our soldiers destroyed an enemy Ka-52 attack helicopter. Thus, the Russian budget lost the equivalent of about another $16 million. Glory to Ukraine!", - said in the message of the General Staff of the AFU.

The General Staff also noted that during the day on May 23, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted 15 strikes on areas of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, three of which were against anti-aircraft missile systems. Over the past 24 hours, our soldiers destroyed four Shahed-type UAVs and one Zala reconnaissance drone.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using drones to destroy accumulations of Russian troops' manpower and equipment. In one direction, a D-20 howitzer cannon was destroyed by the occupants using a UAV.
