AFU repels more than 95 enemy attacks in five directions, invaders open repair base in Volnovakha Technical School - General Staff

Ukraine has entered its 376th day of war with the Russian occupiers, who are concentrating their offensives in Kupianske, Limanske, Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Shakhtar. On the previous day, the Defence Forces had repelled more than 95 enemy attacks there, including near Belogorovka and Nevskoye in Luhansk Region, as well as Zaliznyanskoye, Dubovo-Vasilyevka, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Bakhmut and Ivanovskoye in Donetschina.

In temporarily occupied Volnovakha, the invaders set up a base for rebuilding damaged equipment in the local vocational school, forcing students to work on it. This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in its morning report for 6 March.

The enemy continues to violate the norms of the International Humanitarian Law, continues strikes, artillery shelling of civilian objects and civilian houses, and attempts to destroy critical infrastructure of our country.

In the past 24 hours, it has carried out 27 air strikes and four rocket attacks. More than 70 rocket launchers were fired. The threat of further missile strikes by the Russian Federation is highly probable across Ukraine.

No enemy offensive groups have been detected in the Volyn, Polessk, Seversk and Slobozhansk directions. During the day, the aggressor fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Iskryskivschyna and Volfino in Sumy Region; Budarki, Veternoye, Olkhovatka, Strelechya, Krasnoye, Ternovo and Ogurtsovo in Kharkiv Region.

In the Kupianske and Limanske directions, the occupants carried out artillery fire in the districts of Dvurechnaya, Hryanivka, Masyutovka and Peschanoye in Kharkiv Region; Kuzemovka, Bilohovka, Nevske, Chervonopopovka and Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk Region; Terny, Spornoe and Razdolevka in Donetsk Region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders do not cease their attempts to storm the town of Bakhmut and surrounding settlements. They shelled Zaliznyanske, Dubovo-Vasilyevka, Orekhovo-Vasilyevka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Bogdanovka, Chasov Yar, Kurdyumovka, Kleschiivka, Shirokaya Balka, Ozaryanovka, Druzhba, Grigoryevka, Majorsk and New York in Donetschina.

The occupants conducted unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Krasnogorovka, Kamianka, Severnoye, Pobeda and Marinka in the Donetsk region in Avdiivka and Shakhtar directions. Enemy shelling hit 21 settlements, including Veseloe, Avdeevka, Vodyane, Berdychi, Pervomayske, Krasnogorovka and Ugledar.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions the enemy is defending and in some parts of the front is trying to create conditions for an offensive. More than 40 settlements have been hit by Russian Armed Forces fire, including Novosilka and Vremovka in the Donetsk region; Zaliznichne, Gulyaipole and Kamenske in Zaporizhzhia, as well as Veseloe, Berislav, Chernobaivka, Antonovka in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson. There are civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.

In order to mislead the Defence Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army is manoeuvring by moving columns in the areas of Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region) - Armyansk (temporarily occupied territory of Crimea). These actions cause discontent among the personnel of the Russian occupation troops. The main reason is the lack of sufficient fuel and even a hint of effectiveness of such maneuvers.

In Volnovakha, Donetsk region, the invaders have set up a base for restoring damaged equipment on the funds of the local vocational technical school. The students are being forced to take part in the repair work.

Ukrainian aviation conducted 12 strikes against the occupiers' staging areas over the past 24 hours, while missile and artillery units struck three control points, four staging areas and one enemy air defence position.
