AFU overnight shot down 17 "shahedin" and reconnaissance "Orlan" - Air Force

On the night of May 13, the enemy attacked Ukraine along the northern and southern directions with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 drones. The air force of the AFU managed to destroy 17 attack drones of the occupants.

This was reported in the official Telegram channel of the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A total of 21 launches were reportedly recorded.

As a result of the use of anti-aircraft missile weapons, fighters, and mobile fire groups, 17 hovering munitions were destroyed in different directions.

In addition, during the night, Ukrainian forces destroyed the Orlan-10 operational and tactical unmanned aerial vehicle.

Also over the past 24 hours, on May 12, anti-aircraft defense units successfully destroyed four Lancet-type unmanned aerial vehicles. Reportedly, using tactical aviation, the Air Force conducted dozens of sorties to attack enemy positions and provide fighter air cover.

As reported, enemy UAVs attacked infrastructure in the Khmelnytskyi region. Local authorities and rescue services are actively working to eliminate the consequences of these attacks.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the sounds of explosions were heard during a large-scale air alert in the Lviv region. However, the authorities assured the citizens that the situation in the region is calm.
