AFU military officer: occupiers storm Avdiivka "head-on" like crazy
Russian occupants have launched a third wave of assault on the positions of the Defense Forces in Avdiivka. They are trying to attack head-on, which has never happened before as Ukrainian soldiers have installed extremely effective fortifications at those positions.
This was reported by an officer of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk on Svoboda Live. He noted that such actions of the invaders are illogical and caused by absurd demands of the Russian military command.
"Absurd tasks and deadlines set by the command to take Avdiivka by a certain date. What is the goal? It is impossible to give it a human assessment because it is curable in a psychiatric clinic only," the military commander emphasized.
Tsehotskyi added that the situation near the city is consistently turbulent and attacks continue constantly with varying intensity. "Our soldiers are constantly under the influence of artillery, attack drones, and sometimes infantry.

As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before, Russia shelled civilian settlements in the Donetsk region. Toretsk, Avdiivka and Chasovyi Yar were once again hit by the enemy.
"The invaders keep trying to encircle Avdiivka in the operational area of the Tavria Brigade. Today, they stormed in vain east of Novobakhmutivka and in the areas of Pivnichne and Avdiivka," the spokesman of the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces noted.
