On the night of Wednesday, June 28, there were explosions in temporarily occupied Melitopil, Zaporizhia region. It is preliminarily known about the successful attack on the Russian military and the detonation of ammunition.

This was written about in the local monitoring channels. Residents reported hearing a whole series of explosions, with siren turned on in the southern part of the city.

Enemy air defenses worked over Meliipol, but apparently failed.

"Melitopil/district: 4 powerful congratulations from you know who! 2 more flew in, it's a full package!," the message said.

After that, the residents of Melitopil heard the sounds of detonation of the occupants' ammunition. Kamaz and Ural trucks of the invaders immediately drove to the place of the explosions.

In addition, it was also loud at night in the villages of Terpinnia and Mikhailivka near Melitopil.

Soon the information about the "bavovna" (explosion) was confirmed by the Mayor of Melitopil Ivan Fedorov. He noted that there had been more than five explosions in the occupied city after midnight. The night was also disturbing for the occupants in Tokmak and Mikhailivka. All details are still being clarified.

"The occupants of Melitopil started celebrating the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine since nightfall. After midnight, more than five explosions were heard in the still occupied city. The residents of Tokmak and Mikhailivka also confirm a loud night," Fedorov wrote.
