Ukrainian drones attacked a radar station on the territory of the aggressor country Russia. It is noteworthy that the object was hit at a distance of over 1800 km.

It is an over-the-horizon radar "Voronezh M". This was reported to OBOZ.UA by informed sources.

The strike UAV covered a distance of more than 1800 kilometers to the enemy's facility. Thus, the DIU drones set a new record for the range of destruction for kamikaze drones.

The Voronezh M long-range target detection radar station, which was targeted by the Ukrainian UAVs, is located in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region.

On May 26, local propagandists confirmed that Ukrainian UAVs flew to Orsk and attacked military facilities. At the same time, the Russian Federation claims that no damage was allegedly recorded.

So far, the most distant target attacked by Ukrainian drones was a facility in Salavat (Republic of Bashkortostan), which is 140 kilometers closer to the Ukrainian border than Orsk in the Orenburg region.

The Voronezh long-range over-the-horizon radar is designed to detect space and aerodynamic objects, including ballistic and cruise missiles. The family consists of stations of the meter (Voronezh-M, Voronezh-VP), decimeter (Voronezh-DM) and centimeter (Voronezh-CM) wavebands.

The Voronezh M station in the Orenburg region can detect targets at a distance of up to 6000 km. The Russian Federation claims that this particular radar controls the sector from the Takla Makan Desert (China) to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Since 2015, it has been operating in a test mode to track ballistic targets, and in 2017 it was put into operation.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of May 26, a fire broke out in Moscow's Podolsk. A warehouse selling technical and medical gas cylinders on Kutuzovskaya Street was on fire.
