On Sunday, August 4, a large-scale fire broke out in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region. Preliminary, the facility used by the Russian Armed Forces was set on fire.

The fire was recorded on the territory of the former cold storage plant. The Russian invaders set up their military base there. Details from the movement "Resistance. Mariupol" movement were shared by the press service of the city council on Telegram.

On August 4, residents of different districts of Mariupol saw a column of black smoke."The arson was organized by local partisans," said representatives of the city council.

Earlier, Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, indicated the coordinates of the object: 47.177975, 37.568491.

On his Telegram channel, he hinted that the arson was organized by one of the occupiers who cooperated with Ukrainian partisans. "Some of the Russians got a little rich," Andriushchenko wrote.

As previously reported by OBOZ.UA, in late July, Ukrainian resistance activists in the temporarily occupied village of Hranitne near Mariupol conducted another successful operation. They eliminated an enemy ammunition depot.
