On the night of September 21, Russian terrorists shelled residential areas of Kherson. As a result of the criminal actions of the Russians, there are dead and wounded among civilians.

As of 8:30 a.m., three people have been killed - a woman and two men. This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin and the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office (to see photos and videos, scroll to the bottom of the page).

The regional military administration said that the Russian occupiers opened fire on residential areas of Kherson around 3:40 am. Enemy shells hit a dormitory building while people were still sleeping. Three people died as a result of the attack.

There are also wounded among the civilians. A 61-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition from the site of the attack. Two women aged 44 and 57, as well as a 49-year-old man, were taken to the hospital. They have moderate injuries. In addition, an 81-year-old local resident received medical care on the spot.

The regional prosecutor's office reported that in addition to the dormitory, residential buildings, vehicles and power lines were also damaged. Law enforcement officials clarified that the Russians were shooting at civilians with artillery. Residential buildings, as well as non-residential premises and one of the educational institutions of the regional center, came under the terrorists' fire.

Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in a criminal proceeding over violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are taking measures to document the crime committed by representatives of the armed forces of the aggressor state.

Local residents said that the shelling began around three in the morning. After that, there were arrivals every 5-10 minutes. One woman said she counted at least 52 explosions. It is also reported that 4 fires were started as a result of the criminal actions of the Russians.

On the morning of September 21, Russian terrorists launched a massive air attack on Ukraine. Air defense systems were triggered in Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia regions, as well as in Rivne and Kyiv, and explosions were heard in Kharkiv and Lviv regions.
