"You sneaky snake, you bastard!" Russian Olympic champion attacks hockey legend for supporting Ukraine
The legendary Czech hockey goaltender Dominik Hašek caused a hysteria in Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov by calling on the NHL to pay Ukraine two to four billion dollars. The Russian reacted angrily to the North American league's accusations of advertising military aggression by allowing athletes from Russia to participate in the games.
Kozhevnikov said this in a furious comment to Championship.com. The representative of the aggressor country began to openly insult Hasek for his position, calling him sick in the head, and added that the Czech legend "has changed over the past five years."
"This is a clear diagnosis, what else can I say? He's got a problem with his head, he's spitting saliva like a snake, the bastard! But he doesn't care who you talk about and slander, he doesn't care. He was also a great player... He has changed over the past five years, I don't know why, maybe he had brain surgery. He used to be a normal person and a kind, sincere guy... He's gone somewhere else now," Kozhevnikov said.
Earlier, Hashek gushed over his gratitude to Ukrainians for "defending not only their country, but also the freedom of the world." In addition, the two-time Stanley Cup winner admitted that he is inspired by the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who are confident in their victory over the Russian aggressors.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Dominik Gashek called Russian Olympic champion Vyacheslav Fetisov responsible for the deaths of 100 thousand Ukrainians.
