"You need to build relationships": Chelsea coach speaks about Mudryk after another fiasco
The new head coach of Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino, has expressed his admiration for the team's Ukrainian legionnaire Mykhailo Mudryk. The Argentine specialist supported our compatriot and called on experts and fans not to put additional pressure on the player.
Pochettino said this in an interview with football.london after his team's defeat by West Ham (1-3) in the 2nd round of the Premier League. According to the Blues' coach, Mudryk has everything to fulfil himself at the highest level. The Ukrainian midfielder needs time to adapt to the new environment.
"Today he played 45 minutes. He is a young player whom we need to trust, with whom both the coaching staff and the team need to build relationships. He has tremendous skill and talent. It just takes time for him to adapt better to the team and find a way to play the way we expect him to play," said the Chelsea coach.
It should be noted that Mudryk joined the London club in January this year for 100 million euros. During this time, he played 19 matches, in which he gave two assists. Recently, Mykhailo told us how English fans wished him dead. And Dynamo legend Oleg Luzhny named the young footballer's main mistake.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the leader of the Ukrainian national team Ruslan Malynovskyi returned to Italy and signed a contract with a new Serie A club.
