"We were kicked out": Russian Olympic champion says Russians should not even talk about the 2024 Olympics
Two-time Olympic hockey champion Vyacheslav Fetisov has called on Russians not to even discuss the 2024 Games, which are currently taking place in Paris. The so-called State Duma deputy added that he does not follow the tournament in the French capital at all, complaining about the suspension of Russian representatives.
Fetisov said this in an interview with the propaganda outlet Sport-Express. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime has joined the senseless boycott of the Games by many Russian officials and functionaries who pretend not to watch the Olympics but have begun to discuss the opening ceremony en masse.
"I don't follow the Olympics and I don't advise anyone to. I think it's wrong to discuss this topic because we were kicked out of there. I didn't watch the opening ceremony. I won't watch the closing ceremony or any other competition. I don't care what happens there," Fetisov said.
Earlier, Olympic champion Alexander Tikhonov called the performance of Russian athletes at the 2024 Olympic Games shameful.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the head of the coaching council of the Russian national fencing team, Mark Rakita, demanded that the Russians "express contempt" for Europe because of the 2024 Olympics.
