A video from a lower division soccer match in Paraguay has become a hit on the Internet. The footage shows the referee running away from the angry players, after which the local police shoot at them.

The conflict was caused by the actions of the referee, who, according to one of the teams, blew the final whistle too early. The players went to deal with the referee, he started to run away, and was defended by special forces soldiers who opened fire with rubber bullets.

All this was accompanied by stones and chairs flying from the stands.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, 29-year-old fitness model and blogger Cristina Vita Aranda, wife of Olympia football club player Ivan Torres, was killed in a shootout in the VIP area of the Jose Asuncion Flores amphitheater in the capital of Paraguay. Earlier, she and other spectators of the Binomio de Oro concert were caught in the crossfire.
