Unbeaten Ukrainian heavyweight knocked out in Poland. Video.

Famous Ukrainian heavyweight Igor Shevadzutskiy (10-1, 8 KOs) suffered his first defeat in his professional career. The 32-year-old from Kryvyi Rih lost early to Congo's Martin Bakole (19-1, 14 KOs) at a boxing night in Rzeszow, Poland.

Our compatriot started the fight confidently, working as the first number, but starting from the second round, the situation turned around. Bakole seized the initiative, punching to the body, doubling up with a left hand and trying to catch the Ukrainian with an uppercut.

In the second round, the Congolese landed a combination of a right low kick and a left hook that knocked Igor down. Shevadzutskiy was able to get up, but was just surviving until the end of the round.

In the third round, the judge could not stand the one-sided beating and stopped the fight.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in his previous fight, Shevadzutskiy won a spectacular victory over Klitschko's former rival. The meeting took place at a boxing event in Hamburg, Germany.

Last year, Igor knocked out Georgian representative Paata Aduashvili (10-31-3, 5 KOs).

Prior to that, our compatriot defeated Ramazi Gogiashvili (14-32-2, 6 KOs) from Georgia.

On March 6, Shevadzutskiy easily dealt with Belarusian Alexander Nikhaichik (1-6) at a boxing evening in Kyiv from the Ulions Boxing Promotions promotional company.

On October 3 last year, Igor defeated Adnan Deronja of Bosnia and Herzegovina (3-2, 3 KOs).

On July 1, 2020, Shevadzutskiy knocked out Ihor Pylypenko (5-50-2, 1 KO) from Zaporizhzhia in the first round at a boxing event in Kyiv.

Prior to that, in December last year, Ihor defeated Spaniard Daniel Robles (3-7-2, 2 KOs).

It will be recalled that in 2015, Ihor Shevadzutskiy played for the Ukrainian Atamans team, and in August he helped Russian Alexander Povetkin prepare for a fight against Dillian Whyte.
