Ukrainians from REDFOXES performed at the match dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Lithuanian national team's victory at EuroBasket

Vilnius hosted a basketball game dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Lithuanian national basketball team's triumph at the 2003 European Championships, with all proceeds going to the needs of children with cancer in Lithuania and refugees in Ukraine.
The Auksinei Rinktinei 20 event was held on September 21 at the Avia Solutions Group arena in Vilnius.
Ukraine was represented by the world-famous REDFOXES cheerleading team, which continues to bring Ukrainian traditions to European fans.
For the performance, the team prepared numbers from the "golden" REDFOXES collection, the Final Countdown dance from the victorious match for Lithuania, which was performed at the Stockholm Global Arena in 2003.
We restored the costume of those times and prepared a few more surprises. In an interview with the Lithuanian media, when asked "What do you consider your team's greatest achievement?" Elena Rozhkova, the Red Foxes team leader and president of the cheerleading federation, answered:
"Perhaps earlier I would have said that the greatest achievement is three Olympic Games and nine European Championships. However, now I know for sure that our greatest achievement is that we still exist during the war. The Red Foxes team consists of girls from all over Ukraine. Through their stories, we feel the pain of this war. Thanks to sports, dancing and teamwork, it is easier for us to maintain our and our families' mental health during the invasion. I would like to thank everyone who helps us and all Ukrainians in this difficult time in Lithuania," says Olena.
