In the 7th round of the Europa League group stage, Ukrainian Roma striker Artem Dovbyk broke the nose of Alkmaar Zaanstreek defender Wouter Goes. The incident occurred in the 19th minute of the match.

From the very beginning, both players fought fiercely on the field - Goes was gabbing Dovbyk's shirt, while the Ukrainian showed the power of his elbows.

During one of the moments, Artem hit his opponent in the face with his elbow.

The 20-year-old player of the Netherlands youth national team demanded a red card for the Ukrainian from the head referee Irfan Peljto, but the Bosnian limited himself to a yellow one. During the break, Dovbyk was replaced by Matías Soulé.

This season, Artem played 26 matches for Roma, scoring 11 goals and making 2 assists.
