Ukrainian coach of Al Ain Serhiy Rebrov will not join the Ukrainian national team after the end of his contract with the club, but will sign a new contract with the Emirati team, UAE journalist Mohammed Hamad reports. According to his information, 48-year-old Rebrov will play in the United Arab Emirates championship for several more seasons.

On April 17, it was reported that Rebrov had agreed on the terms of the contract with the Ukrainian Football Association (UFA) and would take over the national team on the eve of the Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia ( June 16) and Malta (June 19).

The same was confirmed by the head of the UAF Andriy Pavelko, who announced on Facebook that a new coach would prepare the Ukrainian national team for the next Euro 2024 qualifying matches.

In his turn, Serhiy Stanislavovych sharply answered the Ukrainian journalist's question about whether he had already had any contacts with the UAF president about signing a contract with our national team.
