Traitor to Ukraine from "Sevastopol" calls Russia a party of "truth and light"

Sevastopol CEO Valeriy Chaly called Russia the bright side in the war with Ukraine, supporting Russia's military aggression. The 65-year-old official, who betrayed our country, added that the terrorist state has "no other options" but to win.

Chaly said this in an interview with Business Online. The former head coach of the Sevastopol double team accused Ukraine of politicising sports and also expressed the absurd idea that Ukrainians are on the side of "darkness and lies", forgetting who unleashed the war in our country.

"We have to win - there are no other options. We need to win on all fronts - football, sports, and the 'SVO' (as Russia's supporters shamefully call the war in Ukraine - Ed.) They respect strength and truth. And we have both truth and strength on our side. I had unpleasant conversations with my relatives. But we still have friends in Kyiv and Poltava. We keep in touch, we correspond - we think alike, on the same wavelength. Of course, communication with some people has ended. I'm on the side of truth and light, and they are on the side of darkness and lies," Chaly said.

Earlier, it was reported that Sevastopol and Rubin Yalta intend to be included in the second division of the Russian championship. After that, the European Football Union (UEFA) sharply responded to Russia's plans.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, UEFA summoned Russian referee Sergei Karasyov to a training camp in September this year.
