"This is the bottom. Disband it": Russian national football team called to "stop disgracing"

The Russian national soccer team has received new refusals from rivals to play friendly matches with it in November or next year. In particular, after Pakistan and Zanzibar, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Brazil did not agree to play with representatives of the aggressor country.

"Our national team is participating in the qualifying round of the Asian region. This means that until June, all FIFA dates will be used for qualifying matches. In two days we will play Qatar, on October 15 we will host North Korea. On November 14, we have an away game against the UAE, and on the 18th we will host Iran at home," the Kyrgyz Football Federation told the Sport-Express propaganda outlet.

At the request of the TASS news agency, the Tajiks also announced closed dates until the end of this year. And the Brazilian Football Association noted that sparring matches with the Russians are impossible in the next two years. "We are not negotiating now. In November and next year, we are unlikely to be able to organize this meeting - our schedule is completely full of World Cup qualifying matches," the organization told Sport24.

Readers of the Sports.ru portal have called on the Russian football leadership to stop embarrassing themselves and disband the national team.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on Thursday, September 5, the Russian national team defeated Vietnam in Hanoi with a score of 3:0. Prior to that, in 2024, Russia played two friendly matches, defeating Serbia and Belarus with the same score - 4:0.
