"They wear 'Russia' T-shirts": Russian Paralympic champion imagined Putin's total support in the West
Denis Gnezdilov, a shot putter from the Russian Paralympic team, has come up with a crazy fantasy that Western countries are actively supporting the terrorist state of the Russian Federation and its leader Vladimir Putin. The athlete, in a patriotic frenzy, noted that he feels comfortable in his so-called neutral status.
Gnezdilov said this in an interview with the propaganda TV channel Match TV. Interestingly, the participant in the upcoming 2024 Paralympics and Tokyo 2020 champion made his remarks in Moscow. Repeating the narratives of the distorted reality of Russians, the athlete noted that before the tournaments in Paris, he was "in full swing."
"There is even more zeal, a desire to win. Everything is boiling inside. Neutral status? We have been in it for a long time, and it was like that in Tokyo. What can we do here? Nothing. Everyone knows who we are and where we come from. If there is a medal, it will come to Russia. All foreigners call us Russians. Only we are not allowed to say that. And many foreigners wear T-shirts with the inscription "Russia" and a photo of our president Vladimir Putin. So everything is fine," Gnezdilov said.
It should be noted that 90 Russians will take part in the 2024 Paralympic Games. They will compete under a neutral flag, they are not allowed to participate in the opening and closing ceremonies, and the results of the Russian representatives will not be included in the medal standings.
As OBOZ.UA reported earlier, propagandist Dmitry Guberniev suddenly came to the conclusion that world sports is doing just fine without Russian athletes at international tournaments.
