Fesikov criticized the IOC

The 2012 Olympic bronze medalist Sergey Fesikov is outraged by the conditions of admission of Russian athletes to international competitions. The multiple European swimming champion noted that representatives of the aggressor country are "getting angrier at the world" because of the requirement to compete under neutral status.

Fesikov said this in an interview with Championship.com. The Russian expressed his admiration for his compatriots, who "put themselves at the top of the rankings" and "show that they are the best in the world" in the face of the suspension of international competitions.

"I'm glad that our athletes are not sad. They show that they are the best in the world. They put themselves at the top of the rankings and show that we are alive and well, we are not disappearing. Look at the scoreboard: we have the result, we have the goal. I believe that we will come back much stronger than we were at the last Olympics in Tokyo. We are becoming angrier at the world because we are not allowed to compete and be on equal terms with everyone. When you stop being afraid and remove the feeling of fear, this is a huge plus. This is sports aggression. They are doing all this in vain," Fesikov said.
