Former Ukrainian tennis player Serhiy Stakhovsky has no doubt that Russia will sooner or later use tactical nuclear weapons (TNWs). According to the 37-year-old Kyiv resident, this is evidenced by all the statements made by the Kremlin's leadership.

"I think that everyone is more or less sure that Russia can use TNWs. Of course, this will have fatal consequences for them. Especially for Russia. But everyone is ready for them to do it. They can do it," Serhiy said in an interview with Yanina Sokolova on Channel 5.

Stakhovsky even suggested that the most likely target is the Chornobyl zone.

"They don't care how they shell peaceful towns far behind the front line. The question is where the warhead will fall. Unfortunately or fortunately, they have a target that is uninhabited and partially located on the territory of Belarus, just to demonstrate their desire, but I think it will have a more negative effect for them. After a nuclear explosion, everyone, including China, will wake up," the former activist said.

Earlier, Serhiy Stakhovsky answered Yanina Sokolova's question about how he sees the war in Ukraine developing further.
