They don't exist: FIFA bans three Russian clubs at once
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has imposed sanctions on two Russian Premier League clubs, CSKA Moscow and Khimki Moscow Region, as well as Kuban, which ceased to exist in 2018. Representatives of the aggressor country are prohibited from making transfers and registering new players.
This is stated in the FIFA database, according to the Mutko vs. According to him, the sanctions were imposed on CSKA because of the transfer of Nigerian striker Chider Ejuke from the Dutch Heerenveen. The Muscovites still owe more than three million euros and have not yet paid the Europeans, giving ridiculous excuses.
CSKA will not be able to engage in transfer activities until the summer of 2026. A similar ban was imposed on Khimki. But the sanctions against Kuban have been declared indefinite. It is not yet known what the punishment for the latter two clubs is related to.
It should be noted that Ejuke left CSKA in the summer of 2022. In the summer of this year, the Nigerian joined Spanish side Sevilla, where he has already scored a goal.
