Vladislav Shepelev, who specializes in the triple jump, missed the Ukrainian Championship this time. Back at the European Youth Championships, it became known that the 21-year-old track and field athlete had an injury and would not be able to recover in time for the national championship.
Shepelev came to Lutsk to receive his bronze medal of the European Games, which he won on June 23 in Poland, as well as to support his colleagues on the national team.

Shepelev instantly interrupted the interview, turned around, and with a hand over his heart began to listen to the main melody of the country.
