The opponent of Ukraine. Where and when to watch today's draw for the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs: broadcast schedule

On Thursday, November 23, the draw for the playoffs for the European Championship 2024 will take place at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The event is scheduled to start at 13:00 Kyiv time.

The draw will be broadcast live on the UEFA official website.

Ukraine and 11 other national teams that have not been directly selected will take part in the ceremony. The winners of the groups in Leagues A, B, and C will participate, but if they have already qualified, their place will be taken by the next team in the group.

The draw will begin with the determination of the team from League B for the Pool A head-to-head matches. As there are not enough teams in League A, a team from League B (Ukraine, Finland or Iceland) will be added.

After that, a pair of semifinalists will be determined, as well as who will play at home in the final of the butt matches.

The three winners of the finals will join the 20 national teams that qualified directly and the tournament host, Germany. The final part of Euro 2024 is scheduled to take place in ten cities from June 14 to July 14.

Thus, Ukraine has a 33% chance of being in Pool A, where it will play against Poland, Wales or Estonia. With a 66% probability, Ukraine will remain in Pool B, where it will compete for the Euros with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel and Iceland.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Ukrainian national team failed to beat Italy in the decisive Euro 2024 qualifying match and qualify for the tournament directly. At the same time, the game ended in a scandal when the referee did not award a penalty kick to the Azzurri in the last minutes, which even the Italians themselves saw as a mistake.
