The fans were especially excited about the venue of the game - a football field at a hotel in Turkey. "All the details regarding the organization of the friendly match have been agreed upon. The Kenyan and Russian national teams will play on October 16 in Antalya at the stadium of the Titanic Mardan Sports Complex hotel. We did not consider any other options and immediately agreed to hold a friendly match in Turkey," Barry Otieno, Secretary General of the Kenya Football Federation, told Sport24.
