Former Russian national team and Spartak Moscow player Denis Glushakov agreed with the absurd idea of Kremlin propaganda that the level of the European Championship has fallen due to the suspension of the Russian national team. The 37-year-old representative of the aggressor country added that he was following the tournament matches in Germany.

Glushakov said this in an interview with Sport24. According to the participant of two European Championships and the World Cup, he does not support any of the participants at Euro 2024, and in addition, it is allegedly uninteresting to follow the tournament due to the absence of Russians.

"I watch matches, but I don't root for anyone. When I have time, I watch the games. There is no such thing as a fan of any team. If there was a Russian national team, I would cheer and worry. The level of viewing has probably dropped. Has the level of the tournament itself also dropped without Russia's participation? It could be. There are just different generations, players are changing. This is all connected to it. But otherwise, you may be right," Glushakov said.

It is worth noting that the Russian national team has managed to get out of the group only once at European Championships. It has only six victories in 20 matches of the continental championship, and half of the games the team from Russia won in the 2008 tournament.
