Russia's deputy prime minister said that "the country is not in isolation". In response, he was called an idiot
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko has become an object of ridicule and mockery from Russian fans, saying that Russian sports are not in isolation. The official cited the participation of athletes from the aggressor country in various Asian and South American tournaments as examples.
"We do not have any isolation. The Friendship Games, the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup, the Legends Challenge Games, the Children of Asia, the Silk Road Rally - these are all formats that have proven successful. Here it is extremely important that we take part in international competitions in the framework of the cross Russian-Chinese years, the Games of the Bolivarian Alliance countries, the Games of the CIS countries, where we won in the team competition. It was a very serious event," the Russian Deputy Prime Minister said in an interview with TASS.
In response, sports fans from Russian Federation called Chernyshenko an idiot.
"What the hell is he talking about? When the deputy prime minister is an idiot, any citizen should squirm," users noted.
Users advise the official to tell such lies elsewhere.
The list of "most prestigious" tournaments caused a real hysteria among fans.
Russian sports fans understand for whom Chernyshenko made such statements in the first place.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, August 13, in Minsk ended the II Games of the CIS countries, which were held in the capital of Belarus since August 4. The victory in the medal standings was won by the Russian national team, which won 288 awards, 149 of them gold. At the same time, the true level of the tournament was illuminated.
