Three-time Russian soccer champion Ruslan Nigmatullin, who lives in the USA, has said that he has no plans to return to his homeland. According to the 49-year-old former goalkeeper, he is happy to live where his children are.

Nigmatullin admitted that he chose to live in a place with year-round summers [the former goalkeeper lives in Florida - ed.], plus he always dreamed of living by the ocean.

"I love Russia, I've never hidden it and I'm not going to give it up. But next year I will be 50 years old, it's time to think about retirement on the ocean," the former Russian national team player said in an interview with RB.

Russian fans ridiculed such patriotism of their compatriot.
