The head of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Irina Viner, made an incredibly illogical statement about dictator Vladimir Putin. According to her, the Kremlin leader's arrival at the opening of the so-called Future Games with figure skater Kamila Valieva demonstrated that sport is outside of politics, which caused laughter online.

"Our president is the greatest personality of global importance. It is a great honor to sit next to such a person. He has shown with this gesture that sport should be outside politics, that no one can offend a child," Viner said in an interview with the propaganda channel Match TV, commenting on Putin's support for the disqualified doping player.
