Ukrainian footballer of Spanish club Rayo Majadahonda Roman Zozulya could not contain his emotions when commenting on the shelling of Odesa by the occupants. Former striker of the national team of Ukraine Roman Zozulya called Russians murderers and drunkards on his Telegram-channel.

"Russia is not a state. Russian is not a nation. It's manure on the world map. Animals who don't care. They have wooden toilets with a tole but still try to destroy everything that is civilized in other countries. Real barbarians," Roman wrote.

Zozulya also reacted to the cries of Russian propagandists that all missile strikes were carried out on Ukrainian military facilities.

"Russian TV is still speaking from the bottom of the humanity. They talk about the defeat of foreign mercenaries of Ukraine and the parking lots of unmanned boats. It was probably all in the cathedral... Manure of the modern world. You will answer for everything!" the Ukrainian forward summarized.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, on the night of July 23, Russian occupation troops made a massive missile attack on the territory of Odesa and the region. The historical center of the city on the Black Sea coast suffered the most: architectural monuments, the cathedral and residential houses were damaged.

Among the damaged and partially destroyed objects are architectural monuments in the historical center of Odesa, which is under UNESCO protection. In particular, the House of Scientists and the UOC-MP Saviour-Transfiguration Cathedral that was once destroyed by the "soviets".

The Russian Defense Ministry, cynically making excuses for the missile strikes on Odesa, said that terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation were allegedly preparing in the Cathedral".
