Russia 'gagged' Putin after recognizing doping system

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Chernyshenko called the doping scandal around Russia after the 2014 Sochi Olympics a conspiracy "under the influence of unfriendly forces". The official rejected accusations of creating a state system for the use of banned substances, despite the fact that this was recognized by dictator Vladimir Putin.
Chernyshenko said this in a commentary to the propaganda news agency R-Sport. Traditionally for representatives of the aggressor country, he called the accusations against Russia the politicization of sport, as well as discrimination against athletes from Russia.
"After the Sochi Olympics, we were accused of all sins, that there were supposedly doping scandals, but it was actually envy and malice, an attempt to use the sports movement for political purposes. All because the international organizations governing sports - the International Olympic Committee, federations - decided, under the influence of unfriendly forces, mainly Anglo-Saxons, to use sports for political purposes to rule the world or colonize it," Chernyshenko said.
After the 2014 Sochi Games, Russia's state-sponsored doping system, which was controlled by the FSB, was uncovered. As a result of the Olympic Games, the Russian Federation was stripped of 11 medals.
Recall, a year before the start of the Olympic Games 2024, July 26, the IOC did not send Russia and Belarus an invitation to the competition. In addition, the media revealed the IOC plans to admit the Russians to the Games as a refugee team.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was outraged by the suspension and the conditions of admission of representatives of the aggressor country at international competitions.
