"Prices are higher, life is more expensive". Volodymyr Klychko talks about "fatigue" in Europe from the war in Ukraine
Legendary Ukrainian boxer Volodymyr Klychko (64-5-1, 53 KOs) has admitted that he is concerned that people in Germany and other countries may be tired of the war in Ukraine. The 47-year-old came on Dr. Markus Lanz's show to talk about the situation in the world.
"Prices have become higher, life has become more expensive, life in Europe has changed," Klychko said.
However, Klychko believes that most people understand and support Ukrainians.
"In sports, as in war, endurance conquers all. Even if everything is very slow and laborious," rnd.de quoted Klychko as saying.
Klychko believes that Putin's Russia should "absorb" itself after this war. So that the war stops and does not happen again.
"The evil will not end unless we put an end to it. They are liars, they have been lying to the world for decades with their propaganda. Rape, murder, torture, destruction of lives. If you are going to negotiate, don't do it from a position of weakness," added our titled compatriot.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in an interview with the French publication L'Equipe in 2015, Volodymyr Klychko said that he was ready to defend Ukraine's territorial integrity from Russia's military aggression at the front.
As a reminder, 20 days before the full-scale invasion began in February 2022, Volodymyr and Vitaliy Klychko enlisted in the Kyiv Territorial Defense Forces.
