"Only one conclusion": Usyk's wife addresses Ukrainians after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station disaster
Kateryna Usyk speaks out about the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP

Kateryna, the wife of unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, admired the Ukrainians who demonstrated incredible unity after Russia caused a man-made and environmental disaster by destroying the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. She noted that the global reaction to the incident proves that Ukrainians can only rely on themselves.

Kateryna Usyk wrote about this on her Instagram page. She added that she was inspired by the reaction of her compatriots to the disaster and called on Ukrainians to continue to support each other and help all those affected by the flood.

"There is only one conclusion! We are Ukrainians, and no one else can help us. Thanks to our people, all those who have been involved since the first day of the invasion and are still helping. You are heroes. We are the only ones who need our country. Glory to Ukraine! Do not stand aside, help each other. I've been watching the last few days as people have come together again, helping, dropping everything and going to volunteer, worrying. Probably like in the first months of the invasion. I am inspired by all of us. We will definitely win!" - emphasised Kateryna.

Earlier, former Dynamo Kyiv and Ukrainian national footballer Roman Zozulya expressed confidence that the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station would not affect the Ukrainian army's counter-offensive.

Recommendations

To recap, activists picketed the UN office in Kyiv because of the organisation's silence after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station was blown up. In addition, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry trolled the UN, which declared the day of the disaster as the day of the Russian language in the organisation.
