Former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko updated his header photo on his Facebook account. The 2008 and 2012 Olympic boxing champion posted a picture with the Ukrainian flag, taken after his fight against Devin Haney.

Unlike Vasyl's previous posts, there were no Russian users in the comments. Mostly Ukrainians wrote, users from Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, supporting their countryman, or fans from far abroad

Prior to that, Loma changed his headshot on 28 October 2022 after his fight against Jemaine Ortiz.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Lomachenko posted a post sharply criticising the Russian Orthodox Church in general and Patriarch Kirill in particular. On his Instagram, Vasyl posted a short video from First Cossack journalist Lev Klymenko, in which Kirill is indirectly named as the culprit behind the persecution of the UOC-MP.
