Three-time Olympic champion Oleksandr Bolshunov is outraged by the conditions of admission of Russian athletes to the 2024 Games in Paris. The winner of the 2021 World Cup in cross-country skiing complained about the alleged bias against representatives of the aggressor country, forgetting about their massive use of doping and the war in Ukraine.

Bolshunov said this in an interview with the propaganda news agency R-Sport. The 27-year-old native of the Briansk region expressed confidence that there are no reasons for sanctions against Russians now and demanded that they be allowed to participate in the Olympics on an equal footing with everyone else.

"As for the tennis players and others, I don't know if they will go to the Olympics, but now the topic of neutral status can be omitted altogether and not talked about. These are not the right conditions now. If you go, you have to go normally. Why should our athletes be harassed? Everyone comes, everything is fine, no one's heart hurts for anything. In our case, there are a lot of questions," Bolshunov said.

As a reminder, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced the decision to allow Russian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympics. In individual events, athletes from the aggressor country must meet strict requirements. In particular, members of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies will not be able to compete for medals in Paris.
