Mayweather's exhibition fight ended in a grand slaughter. Video.
The exhibition fight between the legendary Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti ended in a grand brawl. The 8-round fight between the two Americans took place in Sunrise and was stopped by referee Kenny Baylis in the sixth three minutes, after which a real massacre between the teams of athletes began in the ring.
The fight went on with Mayweather's undisputed advantage, constantly putting pressure on his opponent, shooting from different angles. In the middle of the fight, the boxers began to have regular verbal skirmishes, which the referee did not like. He constantly made comments to Floyd and John, but they did not react.
In the sixth round, the referee got tired of the constant violations of the rules of the fight and stopped the fight. This did not sit well with Gotti, who decided to continue to sort things out with the boxing legend. He attacked Mayweather, dodging the referee, and started beating Floyd.
The team members of the former world champion in four weight categories reacted to this. They began to defend their boxer, after which representatives of Gotti's corner flew into the ring. A massive brawl broke out on the canvas, which then spread to the stands and support areas. After some time, the security guards managed to separate the parties.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, renowned Ukrainian boxer Sergiy Derevyanchenko (14-5, 10 KOs) lost to Jaime Munguia (42-0, 33 KOs), falling to a knockdown in the last round of the fight.
