Russian State Duma deputy Dmitry Svishchev believes that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) is deliberately stalling on the issue of Russians' admission to the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Svishchev believes that the IOC is trying to deceive Russia in this way.

"It's time for the IOC to stop messing around. Either you accept it or you don't. The problem is that the IOC is deliberately stalling. Many Russian athletes won't make it to the Olympics because they simply can't qualify. Theoretically, the IOC has admitted us, but in fact they are trying to outsmart everyone. But where they study, we teach. We will not be fooled," Dmitry Svishchev said in an interview with propagandists from Match TV.

This admission by the parliamentarian that Russia is the best at deception stunned Russian fans.
