Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh won a gold medal at the Diamond League stage in Brussels. The 21-year-old from Dnipro became the only track and field athlete to reach a height of 2.00 meters. She won gold at the King Baudouin Stadium.

The Ukrainian started her performance with a bar level of 191 cm, taking it on the second attempt. Yaroslava also overcame the 194 cm barrier on the second attempt.

The heights of 197 cm and 200 cm were taken the first time. Mahuchikh tried to take 204 cm as well, but she failed to do so.
