Kremlin demands IOC to forget about Ukraine "because there is a threat"
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) should ignore Russia's invasion of Ukraine and not be interested in this topic at all. The organization should also lift any restrictions on Russian representatives and allow them to compete with national symbols.
This cynical and ridiculous demand was made by Dmitry Peskov in a commentary to the propaganda outlet Sport-Express. The spokesman for the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin accused the IOC of politicizing sport, threatening its collapse, and allegedly "double standards."

"Nothing good is happening in sports. The Olympic movement is probably in danger of collapse. Of course, the IOC leadership needs to think very carefully about the decisions they make regarding our country. And think about the concept of "double standards".
