"I've never seen anything like that": Khabib said what struck him in the US and was mocked in response
Famous mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov answered the question about the number of genders at an event in Las Vegas, recalling an incident from his life. According to the former Absolute Fighting Championship champion, he walked into a cafe in California a couple of weeks ago and saw an all-gender restroom.
"I thought, 'What is this? Where am I going?' It was the first time I'd ever seen something like that. I froze for five seconds. Where are the men, where are the women? I knocked, 'Anybody there?' I don't know. I grew up in a very traditional place, in a very traditional family, and I'm glad I did. I come from the big mountains and we only have two genders," Khabib stated.
Nurmagomedov was mocked by Russian fans, reminding him of the realities in the country.
"...It can't be compared to Russia where the toilet is on the street. For everyone. Wooden and without any signs. I thought 'This is what I'm used to,' the users said.
Fans joke that he got knocked down for the first time in his career in those five seconds.
Martial arts fans reminded the Russian fighter of his scandalous photo in a Jacuzzi.
Nurmagomedov hinted at his return to the big sport. The former Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion did not reveal all the plans, but noted that he should not be expected in the Octagon.
