Ukrainian national footballer will continue his career in Italy

Ruslan Malinovsky, one of the leaders of the Ukrainian national soccer team, has moved to Genoa. The 30-year-old midfielder will continue his career in Italy on loan with the right to buy.

According to preliminary reports, the team can conclude a full contract with the Ukrainian for 10 million euros.

Last season the Ukrainian played for Marseille 23 matches in all tournaments and scored two goals, one of them is to PSG's net.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, Genoa was headed by Andriy Shevchenko on November 7. January 15, 2023, Sheva was fired. The reason for this decision was disagreements over transfers.

Malinovsky moved to Marseille in January this year, having previously played three and a half seasons for Atalanta. In Italy, he played 143 matches in all tournaments, scoring 30 goals and giving 24 assists.

Ruslan moved to the Italian club from Belgian Genk in the summer of 2019 for €13.7 million.
