Ukrainian Dnipro-1 striker Artem Dovbyk will continue his career in Girona. According to the official website of the Spanish club, the 26-year-old Ukrainian national team player signed a 5-year contract. Financial details of the deal are not disclosed.
According to unofficial information, "Girona" paid six million euros. Danish Midtjylland, which owns part of the rights to the player will receive 450 thousand.
The Cherkasy-born footballer became the Premier League's top scorer last season, having 25 goals in 29 games for Dnipro club. Dovbyk's sporting career developed in Ukraine, although he also spent time in Denmark (Midtjylland and Sønnerjusk) and had a small experience in Moldova (Zorya).
