On the eve of the network appeared the criteria for admission to the Games 2024

A member of the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Yevgeniya Kravchuk, said that the plenary session would consider a resolution on the non-admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to the Olympics 2024 in Paris. According to Kravchuk, the International Olympic Committee is likely to receive this recommendation on the exclusion of Russian and Belarusian athletes.

Kravchuk noted that the previous draft resolution was already filled with strong language.

"Arrived in Strasbourg for the June plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. There is an important week ahead for Ukraine. There is a serious task - to hold debates on the urgent procedure and adopt a resolution on the non-participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the Olympics 2024 in Paris, which is being prepared by the PACE Committee on Culture, Education, Media and Sports, which I represent," Kravchuk wrote on her Facebook.

Recall that on March 28 the IOC issued recommendations on the admission of Russians and Belarusians to the international tournaments, having declared that the decision on participation of these athletes at Games in Paris will be accepted one year prior to the beginning of Olympic Games. The Olympic Games 2024 in France will begin on July 26.

A few days ago the criteria according to which Russia and Belarus will be admitted to the Olympics-2024 appeared in the network.
