In Russia, threatening "radical decisions", called the deadline for the Russian Federation to return to the UEFA tournaments

Alexei Sorokin, advisor to the president of the Russian Football Union (RFU), demanded that the issue of the return of teams from the aggressor country to international tournaments no later than 2025 be resolved. Otherwise, his organization intends to move from Europe to Asia.
Sorokin stated this to the propaganda publication Izvestia. The former head of the organizing committee of the 2018 World Cup blamed the European Football Union (UEFA) for the lack of attempts to return the Russians to their tournaments, calling the situation "beyond the line of good and evil".
"We are, after all, part of Europe. But if this is indefinite, if this UEFA position persists for many years, then this, in my opinion, disposes to other solutions. More radical. I do not see anything wrong if we move to Asia. The situation as it is now, with everything banned, cannot last more than three years. A soccer cycle without playing on the international stage, of which one year has already passed, is already a lot. If there is more than one cycle, it's just beyond good and evil," Sorokin said.
Earlier, Olympic champion Svetlana Zhurova with the words "tomorrow we will reconcile with Ukraine" called the exclusion of Russia from UEFA unacceptable.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, State Duma deputy Dmitry Svishev complained about Ukraine to UEFA and FIFA, noting that our country has no right to demand that Russia be punished for recognizing the Crimean teams as part of its championship.
