In Russia, a titled hockey player was arrested for evading mobilization. He faces 10 years in prison

Vladislav Grigoriev, a multiple winner of the title of top scorer of youth hockey tournaments in Russia, has been arrested in Moscow for evading the army. The 20-year-old ex-hockey player of Perm's Molot was detained near one of the towers of Moscow City, where he lived while hiding from law enforcement agencies, propagandists of Regnum news agency reported.
Grigoriev is charged under Part 5 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Unauthorized abandonment of a unit or place of service, as well as failure to report for duty within the time limit without valid reasons for service of more than one month, committed by a serviceman performing military service under call-up or contract, during mobilization or martial law, in wartime or in conditions of armed conflict or hostilities."
He faces up to 10 years in prison. At the moment Grigoriev is under a recognizance not to leave the country.
As reported OBOZREVATEL, earlier because of the goalkeeper of CSKA Moscow Ivan Fedotov broke out a loud scandal in world hockey.
The 26-year-old vice-champion of the 2022 Olympics was forcibly conscripted into military service last July.
In a recent interview, Fedotov admitted that he was literally counting the days until he could demobilize from the Russian army.
