He was one of the eight strongest boxers. Russian champion boxer who fought against Ukraine was killed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated Russian boxer Vladislav Yurkevich. In early December 2024, a 22-year-old native of Biryusinsk (Irkutsk region) caught the arrival of a Ukrainian FPV drone in the Kursk direction.
Yurkevich was involved in boxing from an early age and repeatedly became a prize-winner and winner of regional and all-Russian tournaments. He was one of the best boxers in the region and was also one of the eight strongest athletes in Siberia.
He was the champion of the Irkutsk region among boys aged 15-16 in Cheremkhov, as well as the winner of the Russian Student Sports Union (RSSU) championship in Irkutsk.
In 2019, he won silver medals at the Russian RCCS Championships and the Irkutsk Region Championships among juniors aged 17-18 in Ust-Ilimsk.
After serving in the military, Yurkevich decided to join the Russian occupation forces involved in the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The boxer volunteered to kill Ukrainians as part of the Akhmat special forces.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, a few days ago it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated the coach of the Fakel football club from the Leningrad region, Vladimir Fedorov. The 35-year-old specialist signed a contract with the invaders after the start of the full-scale invasion and was killed in the area of the so-called special operation.
