"Footballers on vacation": The 184th world team staged an epic setup for the Russian national team
Brunei's national football team will send a second team consisting of semi-professional players to Russia for a friendly match. The match is scheduled for November 19, and the Asians, who are ranked 184th in the world rankings, will not be able to bring the base to Krasnodar because the athletes are on vacation during this period.
This was stated by the Brunei Football Federation in a commentary to the propaganda publication Sport-Express. Players representing the Royal Armed Forces of the Sultanate will play against the Russians, and an active selection process is underway for the trip to the aggressor country.
"We will send a second team to Russia. Most of the players of the main team will not be able to come. They will be on vacation. They have only one period for this - three weeks in November, because the pre-season training starts in December. Most of the players of the second team are from the MS ABDB team, which belongs to the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, but the army is only a name here, they do not conduct combat operations. Almost all the players are not professionals. That is, they have a main job, and then, from 4:30 p.m., they train with their clubs," the FFB said.
It should be noted that in October, the Russian national team was forced to cancel friendly matches because teams from Pakistan, Zanzibar, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Brazil refused to play with them.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Russian midfielder Daniil Glebov, with a traditional sense of self-exceptionalism, accused the Pakistanis of disrespect.
