Famous Ukrainian heavyweight won two championship titles by knockout. Video

36-year-old boxer Serhiy Radchenko (9-7, 4 KOs) from Kremenchuk defeated 28-year-old Dmytro Serhuta (8-3, 8 KOs) from Kyiv in a fight for the vacant Ukrainian and WBC Ukraine heavyweight belts. The fight at the charity boxing night in Kyiv at the AKKO International exhibition center ended in a technical knockout.
Radchenko dissolved all questions about the winner in the 8th round. After a fairly even battle, the famous fighter landed a great punch. Serhuta was left with a serious cut.
After a combination attack, Dmiytro was forced to "take a knee" and refused to continue the match.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in June 2020, Serhiy lost to Polish ex-European champion Mateusz Masternak (41-5, 28 KOs) without a chance.
The meeting at the Suzuki Boxing Night II show in Kielce (Poland) in the cruiserweight division (up to 90.7 kg) ended with a unanimous decision of the judges 79-72, 80-71, 80-71.
In March of the same year, Radchenko lost in a fight with Pole Artur Szpilka (24-4, 16 KOs).
Before that, Serhiy lost in a dramatic fight to former WBO heavyweight champion Krzysztof Glowacki (29-1, 18 KOs).
