Famous Ukrainian national team footballer Oleksandr Kucher has become a victim of a criminal gang. The legendary Shakhtar Donetsk defender was tracked down and robbed, and the total damage caused to the current head coach of Dnipro-1 is estimated at 500,000 dollars.

This is informed by the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, which did not disclose the name of the ex-footballer. His identity was established by Telegram-channel "Bombardier".

According to the investigation, two members of the criminal group committed thefts from private houses in the Transcarpathian region. They carefully prepared for the commission of crimes. With the help of special equipment, the criminals conducted surveillance of the future object. In order not to be exposed, they traveled on roads without video surveillance and used other methods of conspiracy.

A large number of valuable items, including a collection of watches and jewelry, and money were stolen from Kucher's home. During searches of the suspects, the stolen property was found and seized. At present, they have been elected a preventive measure - detention in custody.
