The legendary Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Rinat Dasaev spoke out against Russia's withdrawal from the European Football Union (UEFA) and the country's transition to Asia. Dasaev said this in a commentary for the propaganda TV channel Match TV. The former USSR national team goalkeeper expressed regret over the suspension of Russian teams from UEFA tournaments and added that a return to European competitions "may have to wait a couple of years".
